MICHAEL D’ENETT
LLB, GDLP
Michael graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2022. Michael began studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith, but after finding himself enjoying any legal-related subjects, he decided to make the jump into Law full-time. Michael found a passion in law and is particularly fond of the mental challenges law provides. He believes it a privilege to have the opportunity to make a real impact in the day-to-day lives of his clients.
Michael started his legal journey at Croy Legal and believes he could not have gotten a better start to his career with mentorship under Lisa Croy. His current role involves predominantly Family Law and Conveyancing. Michael is looking to specialise in Family Law and is currently completing an Applied Master in Family Law (LLM).
Michael’s passion for Family Law stems from his belief that separations, particularly when involving parenting, are incredibly important to get right as a poorly handled separation can impact a child for a lifetime. Michael also thoroughly enjoys financial settlements, especially when given the chance to negotiate a settlement on behalf of his client.
When Michael is not at work, you can find him hiking, at the gym, reading and spending time with his family.
